Aisha S. Horton, originally from Queens, NY, began her dance journey at the age of 4 and formally trained at the Theater of Dance Movement and Gloria Jackson Dance. Initially trained in Ballet and Tap, Aisha’s dance education expanded to include Jazz, Modern, African, Lyrical and Pointe.
After high school, Aisha joined the United States Air Force where she served as a Surgical Technician and during this tenure, her love of dance continued. She not only participated in dance events but had opportunities to direct and choreograph for a variety of events. After an Honorable discharge from the military, she returned to NY, completed Nursing school, and began teaching throughout NY and CT, most recently with Genesis Dance.
Aisha is an award-winning dancer and choreographer with a teaching career spanning more than 20 years. Although an accomplished instructor, Aisha continued her study of dance at The Alvin Ailey, Cumbe’ Dance, and Broadway Dance companies and a resident of North Carolina, Aisha is an active member of Harambe Collective. She has recently led as Artistic Director and Choreographer for a local Raleigh production.
Dance provided a safe space for self-expressing joy, pain, pride and humility in Aisha’s life. This, along with her belief that dance is a discipline to heal, teach, promote teamwork, and build confidence motivates her to continue training all generations in the art of dance. It is a responsibility and lifelong service to her community that Aisha accepts.

Our Mission
At our dance school, we aim to provide exceptional training in various dance styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and cultural dances. We believe in nurturing each student’s unique potential, encouraging them to strive for excellence while embracing their individuality. Through expert instruction, mentorship, and a supportive environment, we seek to empower our dancers to reach their full artistic and personal potential.
In addition to technical proficiency, we understand that dance is a powerful means of self-expression and a vehicle for personal growth. Therefore, our vision extends beyond the studio walls. We aspire to engage with the broader community, collaborating with local organizations, schools, and artist.
